‘Alexa, grow a tree’: Amazon launches voice-enabled reforestation initiative

Amazon is pairing up with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit that helps reforestation world wide, to plant timber.

U.S. prospects with an Alexa-enabled system can say “Alexa, develop a tree,” to donate $1 to plant one tree by means of the nonprofit. Amazon can also be donating $1 million to the group. The initiative celebrates “Earth Month” in April; April 22 is Earth Day.
